Before you can ask the question of where you can find a template for writing a formal letter, you need to have a clear understanding of why you are sending the letter and who it is being sent to. Most formal letters use the same basic format there are occasions such as a resume cover letter than have slightly different rules as far as the basic layout.
Notice that within the first two opening sentences, the letter took shape as to what information was going to be presented. After the opening structure, the rest of the letter went into details as to what is now available in terms of options for the consumer. The final paragraph was an apology for inconvenience, which is something that happens from time to time, and was included here for consistency.
You are going to want cover letter samples that include positions relatively comparable to the job you have now, as well as samples for jobs that are one step up from where you are now. You may even think about creating a letter sample for a position you are actually overqualified for. Taking this approach insures that you are prepared for lots more kinds of positions that may come along. When you start the process of writing a letter sample for a job or career that you might consider to be a lateral move, emphasize your current job responsibilities. Construct the sample so that it clearly discusses the specific functions you are responsible for in your current job. I would also suggest you avoid mentioning job duties you currently perform that might be thought of as being below your skill level.
Before you begin writing, however, it is important to first know exactly what a hardship letter is. In general, it is a letter written to your lender describing in detail the situation you are in that has caused you to default on your current mortgage. Usually, this letter is the only document that will convince your lender to agree to a short sale or a modified loan payment. I can not stress enough how important it is.
Polish with the basics of your covering letter samples. Typographical errors are simply not acceptable. You will also have to make sure that your paper is clean, the text is readable and the spacings are amply placed. It must not look too crowded nor too scant. Make the best use of the paper and use black ink for formality. Check for grammar consistency and all the other minor details that comprise your covering letter. Be constantly reminded that the person who will read your covering letter may or may not have seen you in person prior to reading your letter. Make a good first impression and leave no minor details hanging or erroneous.
The aforementioned was a very basic, simple response letter template for anyone to use for their needs. Notice the salutation was formal, and the closing was relatively informal. Establishing formalities is hard, but if you can use language to fit into the mind of the reader a little more than just being a stranger you can rest assured you will gain a response.
